Project "Integrated fire detection and alarm system" - code SMIS 2014+ 153291, project co-financed from the European Fund for Regional Development through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014 - 2020
The Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport, as a beneficiary of European funds through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020 and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as the Management Authority, signed on August 11, 2022 Financing Contract No. 153/11.08.2022. XNUMX, to achieve the investment objective "Integrated fire detection and alarm system".
The project "Integrated fire detection and alarm system", code SMIS 2014+153291, is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014 - 2020 and has an implementation period of 41 months, between 01.08.2020 - 31.12.2023, but it was completed on 18.05.2023 when the system was received.
The objective of the project is to equip the buildings in the airport perimeter with fire detection, signaling and alarm equipment, interconnected by optical fiber in a single integrated detection and alarm system (dispatched).
The dispatch center will be equipped with monitoring equipment and state-of-the-art computer programs that will allow the detection of a crisis situation in the shortest possible time and will ensure the permanent monitoring of the objectives.
The new fire detection and alarm equipment will ensure the detection in a short time and with high precision of the area where an emergency situation occurs, which will reduce the intervention times of the personnel of the Private Emergency Service of the airport and will ensure the increase of the safety level at the airport.
The total value of the Financing Agreement is 886.909,00 lei, of which the value co-financed by the European Union is of 620.756,43 lei.
