Chapel at Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport
For people who need a moment of peace and introspection, the International Airport Avram Iancu Cluj offers passengers a chapel in the Departure Terminal area, public area, on the 1st floor.
An ecumenical chapel was inaugurated at the "Avram Iancu" International Airport in Cluj-Napoca on April 27, 2018, where Christians of all denominations will be able to participate in services and will be able to retire when preparing for a plane flight . The chapel is protected by the Holy Prophet Ilia, the spiritual patron of the Romanian Air Force and Aviation, and the initiative to set it up is a rarity in the world and even more so in Eastern Europe.
