"Integrated fire detection and alarm system"

The Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport, an autonomous authority subordinate to the Cluj County Council, announces the completion of the project from non-refundable funds "Integrated fire detection and alarm system", SMIS code 2014+153291, based on Financing Contract No. 153/11.08.2022 concluded with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The objective of the project was to equip the airport buildings with modern fire detection, signaling and alarm equipment, connected by optical fiber in an integrated detection system.
The system incorporates fire detection sensors located throughout the airport's buildings and facilities and a control room equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and software.
Following the implementation of the project, the new equipment will allow the detection in a short time and with high precision of the areas where a fire situation occurs and will ensure the reduction of the intervention times of the personnel from the Private Service for Emergency Situations of the airport.
The total value of the Financing Agreement is 886.909,00 lei, of which the amount co-financed by the European Union is 620.756,43 lei.
The implementation period of the project "Integrated fire detection and alarm system", SMIS code 2014+153291, provided for in the Financing Agreement is 41 months, between 01.08.2020 and 31.12.2023, but the project was successfully completed on the date of 18.05.2023 when the fire alarm system was received.
The project is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020.
