Start of the "Integrated fire detection and alarm system" project

The Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport, as a beneficiary of European funds through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020 and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as the Management Authority, signed on August 11, 2022 Financing Contract No. 153/11.08.2022. XNUMX, to achieve the investment objective "Integrated fire detection and alarm system".
The objective of the project is to equip the airport buildings with fire detection, signaling and alarm equipment, interconnected by optical fiber in a single integrated detection and alarm system.
The new fire detection and alarm equipment will ensure the detection in a short time and with high precision of the area where an emergency situation occurs, which will reduce the intervention times of the personnel of the Private Emergency Service of the airport and will ensure the increase of the safety level at the airport.
The total value of the Financing Agreement is 779.486,44 lei, of which the amount co-financed by the European Union is 544.123,26 lei.
The project "Integrated fire detection and alarm system", code SMIS 2014+153291 has an implementation period of 38 months, respectively between 1.08.2020 - 30.09.2023.
