The closing meeting of the year within the "Taxiway parallel to the runway" project

On December 21, 2020, at Cluj International Airport, the closing meeting of the year was held within the Taxiway parallel to the runway project, a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020. The works will be suspended during the winter holidays, to be resumed at the beginning of next year, depending on weather conditions. Up to this moment, the works have been carried out according to the execution schedule. Representatives of Cluj Airport, the executor and the supervisor participated in the meeting.  

The New Taxiway will streamline the movements of aircraft on the ground and handling equipment, which will lead to the optimization of times to perform ground operations under increased safety and security conditions.
