"Cluj Airport, the most dynamic development in the region"

"We chose Cluj International Airport as a meeting place for the elite of the European aviation industry, because here we found the regional airport with the most dynamic and spectacular development in Southeast Europe. We met an open and visionary management here, and this made us believe that it is the right place for the scope of this event, which brings together representatives from the highest level of European aviation", said Marcel Riwalsky, Aviation-Event CEO .

"On March 31, 2022, Cluj-Napoca will be the capital of European aviation. It is an honor, a great responsibility, but also a challenge for Cluj International Airport to organize such a conference for the first time in Romania. This prestigious event represents the opportunity to show the whole of Europe the vision of Romanian aviation for a sustainable and resilient transport, capable of contributing to the economic development of Romania, in the long term. The privilege to host Aviation-Event 2022 CLJ, comes as a result of the status acquired by the Cluj International Airport in the last two decades, respectively – a model of good practices and a reference airport in South-East Europe, and the recent award granted by ACI Europe for the best airport in Europe under 5 million passengers per year, confirming the above", said the General Director of the "Avram Iancu" Cluj International Airport, David Ciceo.

"Considering the period marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to ensure the health and safety of all delegates, speakers and organizing staff. In this sense, we will review and adapt the measures to prevent contamination with the new coronavirus in order to minimize any associated risks and to ensure that the event takes place in conditions of maximum sanitary safety. We will respect the government guidelines and we will ensure the necessary physical distancing for the smooth running of the event", Cluj Airport representatives said.
