Workshop - Greening the Airports - OLGA

Cluj-Napoca, May 27, 2026 – Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport hosted the international workshop dedicated to the presentation and dissemination of the results of the European research and innovation project OLGA – hOlistic & Green Airports, one of the most important European projects dedicated to the decarbonization of the aviation sector and the development of green and sustainable airports.

The event brought together representatives of regional airports in Romania, local public authorities, research institutes and centers, academia, economic operators and partners involved in airport activity, with the main objective of promoting innovative solutions developed within the OLGA project to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment.
