Visiting tour for children from the “Gavroche” Emergency Child Reception Center and the “Perlino” Family Home in Cluj-Napoca

At the invitation of the International Airport Avram Iancu Cluj, children from the "Gavroche" Emergency Child Reception Center and the "Perlino" Family-Type Home under the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection of Cluj visited Cluj International Airport today, with the aim of becoming familiar with civil aviation activities.

During the visit, the children had the opportunity to visit the ROMATSA control tower, where air traffic controllers demonstrated communication between an aircraft pilot and the control tower. They also witnessed a dog training demonstration by the Border Police dog Sky.

They watched several plane takeoffs and landings, witnessed a presentation of a fire truck from Cluj International Airport, and visited the Wizz Air aircraft, where the pilot shared some interesting facts about the aircraft.

At the end of the visit, the children received gifts from our partners: Millenium Pro Design, Lagardere Travel Retail and Restaurantul Express.
