Passengers must not accept to carry in their own luggage, for any reason, objects/packages from other people, regardless of the nature of the relationship with them. They must also avoid carrying valuables in checked baggage.

Passengers are not allowed to abandon their luggage / belongings or leave them unattended in the airport perimeter.

Security screening of passengers and their luggage

In accordance with the legal provisions, the state institution responsible for security control at the airport is the Romanian Intelligence Service, thus, at the security control filters, passengers are obliged to comply with the instructions of the security operators.

In order to go through the security check, passengers must remove their coat (jacket, jacket, sweater), belt, watch, empty the contents of their pockets, put them in the specially designed plastic tray and present them separately for the security check.

Security operators may ask the passenger to remove other items of clothing and/or other items, if applicable.
