In September and October 2020, at the Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport, several work sessions were held within the Taxiway parallel to the runway project, a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020.
Members of the UIP team from Cluj Airport as well as representatives of the executor, designer and supervisor participated in the working sessions.
The discussions during the meeting pointed out aspects related to the progress of the works compared to the execution schedule, the planning of activities for the cold season and any problems that might arise.
At the same time, the members of the UIP team kept in constant contact with the project managers from the Ministry of Transport.
The Taxiway parallel to the runway project is carried out in two stages, and 50% of the value of the project's eligible expenses is from European funds, and the remaining 50% is the financial contribution of Cluj International Airport.
